3rd Term Books
Sorry it has been so long since I posted! I don’t even have a plausible excuse, I haven’t been that busy!
So anyway, instead of splitting our school year into two semesters, we split it up into three terms. Each term is twelve weeks long. Third term just started last week, so I wanted to share what literature I am reading right now. I have continued a couple of the books from second term, but most of them I just started last week.
This one is called The Autobiography Of George Muller. And of course it is written by George Muller. I am really enjoying this book so far, because George Muller has a very interesting life!
Next I have Much Ado About Nothing by Shakespeare. The version that I am reading is called Shakespeare Made Easy, and it is in play form. The nice thing about this version is that it has the original version on one side of the page, and the simplified version on the other side. So for people like me, who don’t get as much out of the play when I read it in the old language, you can still skim the old language, and read the simpler language, or however you want to do it.
This book I have been reading all year. It is called 101 Famous Poems and is by Roy J. Cook. It has some really good poems in it!
A Girl Of The Limberlost by Gene Stratton-Porter is my favorite book that I am reading this term so far. It is a very good story!
And last but not least we have David Copperfield by Charles Dickens. This one is starting out really good too!
So those are the books I am reading! Hopefully I will be able to motivate myself to write reviews on all of them once I finish them!
